 Geotech
has two products, Enviro Data and Enviro Spase. Geotech's Enviro Data
software stores and displays environmental quality data, such as field
and laboratory data for water, soil and air. Users can cost-effectively
import analytical and other data, review the quality, select data, and
generate reports, graphs and maps, or provide data to other programs or
to various agencies. Geotech's Enviro Spase
product builds on the strong interface between Enviro Data and ArcGIS.
Enviro Spase helps you efficiently display your data on GIS maps. Many
of the sophisticated data formatting features, including advanced
display of flagged data and regulatory limit comparisons, are
automatically passed along to the GIS displays.
Geotech has been evolving this software for about
15 years, with over 25 programmer years invested in development. Some of

The Leading Open Source
Environmental Data Management System
 Enviro
Data was created to store and display site environmental quality data.
This powerful and intuitive software uses Microsoft Access for the user
interface and any ODBC-compliant database such as Access, SQL Server or
Oracle as a back-end database server.
The data storage structure (data model) has been carefully refined over
many years based on our experience storing millions of records of
environmental site data, and satisfies the rules of Fifth Normal Form
data structure. Enviro Data lets you
plan your sample events, import analytical and other data from the
laboratory and the field, review the quality of the data, and store the
data in the database. You can then select data using a simple form-based
query system to see just the data you need, and then create a printed
report, save the data to disk, or copy it to the clipboard for other
Windows programs. You can display graphs and maps of constituent data,
and store data from many different sites in the same database. Enviro
Data is the easiest software of its type to learn and use, even for
non-database experts, at a great price! Enviro Data users have reported
timesavings of 50% or more on projects compared to managing data the way
they have in the past.

Easy and Efficient Display of
Environmental Data in GIS
Geotech’s Enviro Spase product makes it easy to
display environmental data from Enviro Data or other sources on GIS
maps. Enviro Spase runs within ESRI’s ArcGIS (9.x or newer), and
contains Wizards to create different types of displays. The Callout
Wizard draws data callouts on the map with various options. The Crosstab
Callout wizard makes tables in the callouts. The Stiff Diagram Wizard
draws water quality diagrams at station locations. The StickLog Wizard
creates boring log displays showing concentration levels. The Graph
Wizard displays time-sequence graphs of multiple constituents on up to
two scales, showing either concentration, lithology, or both. The Radar
Plot Wizard shows concentrations on a circular diagram like a wind rose.
Enviro Spase is nicely integrated with Enviro Data’s advanced features
such as Value and Flag processing and Regulatory Limits, so you can
easily and efficiently move your data onto your maps, providing the most
useful information while maintaining a high level of quality.

you can download (for free) a full working version of Enviro Data and
try it for yourself. This version is time limited and is not
open-source, but other than that you will receive the full functionality
of the software. There is an on-screen tour to walk you through the main
features of the program, and then you can create your own database,
import data, generate reports and maps, and create export files.

The Enviro software is built from the ground up
to make it easy to get it going on your projects. To have you up and
running as fast as possible, and keep you going smoothly, Geotech
provides a variety of implementation services.
The first thing you will want is to subscribe to our
annual maintenance program for your software. This includes new versions
that come out during the year, plus technical support. Clients tell us
that we have the best technical support in the business, with typical
incident response in just a few minutes, and often a solution the same
day. Because our software is open-source, we can often provide patches
that you can implement on the spot to overcome problems.
While our software is easy to learn and use, we
strongly recommend that you have us train your staff on the software and
its use. This will help you understand the wide variety of features and
capabilities of the programs, and how to use these to your greatest
benefit. This will shorten the time it takes you to start being
productive with the software.
Sometimes our clients ask us to help them convert
their existing data into Enviro Data format so they can "hit the ground
running." We'll be glad to take a look at your data and either give you
advice on converting it yourself, or a cost estimate for us to do it.
